Terms, Privacy, and Billing
TVLok is owned and operated by IDOKO LLC.
TVLok is beta software for organizing and playing user-provided media sources. TVLok does not provide, host, sell, stream, verify, or grant access to TV channels, movies, shows, playlists, subscriptions, providers, or any other content.
Terms of Use
You may use TVLok only with playlists, credentials, files, and media sources that you are legally authorized to access. You are responsible for the legality, availability, accuracy, quality, and reliability of every source you add.
TVLok is not affiliated with playlist/source providers, broadcasters, channel owners, leagues, studios, app stores, or device makers unless we say so in writing. Features may vary by app version, device, network, playlist format, provider limits, and subscription plan.
Do not use TVLok to access, organize, distribute, record, or encourage unauthorized copyrighted content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attack our systems, bypass entitlement controls, misuse cloud sync, or create legal or payment risk for TVLok.
Beta Software Notice
TVLok is currently offered as beta software, and individual beta features may be improved, changed, or retired. Report issues through the app, dashboard, or email so we can investigate. This notice does not excuse a material failure of TVLok Pro to match the description presented at purchase and does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
TVLok is provided as a software player and account service, not as a content service. A playlist or third-party provider that stops working is not TVLok failing to deliver channels or media, because TVLok does not sell or supply that content.
Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
A TVLok purchase provides access to TVLok Pro player software and account features only. TVLok Pro may include cloud sync, multi-device support, profiles, encrypted settings and source-configuration backup, recording, timeshift, multiview, and other premium app features. It never includes channels, playlists, provider subscriptions, movies, shows, events, or content access.
Feature availability may vary by supported device, operating system, app version, and source capability. The exact features, device limits, profile limits, and playlist limits included in a plan will be shown at checkout, and the accepted version will control that purchase.
No TVLok plan guarantees that a particular third-party source, stream, channel, program, or EPG entry will remain available or compatible. Third-party source availability and compatibility can vary by provider, credentials, connection limits, region, network, and playlist format. TVLok software compatibility can also vary by device, codec, and app version; report a suspected TVLok defect so we can investigate it.
Monthly ($3.99 USD), 6-Month ($12.99 USD), and Annual ($19.99 USD) plans include a seven-day trial only when checkout explicitly shows one. A payment method is required. Unless checkout states otherwise, a person or account that previously used a TVLok Pro trial is not eligible for another trial. Unless you cancel before the date, time, and time zone shown at checkout, the selected plan is charged and renews automatically at its stated interval until canceled. All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Current checkout tax is USD 0.00, and Stripe shows the exact total before authorization.
Founding Lifetime costs $39.99 USD and is charged immediately, with no trial or automatic renewal. It is available only while checkout shows remaining availability and until 1,000 qualifying one-time purchases have completed, one purchase per account, and is non-transferable. Reversed or fraudulent purchases do not retain Pro access. It provides Pro access for the operating life of TVLok Pro and is subject to the device, profile, and playlist limits shown and accepted at purchase. It does not promise that TVLok Pro or every feature will operate forever.
A recurring subscription can be canceled online from the dashboard subscription page before the next charge. Customers can also contact [email protected]for cancellation or account help. Canceling stops future renewals, but it does not erase account, device, billing, support, security, or audit records that we need for legitimate business, legal, tax, security, or dispute reasons.
We will provide notices required by applicable law, including notice of material subscription changes, advance notice of fee changes, and annual renewal reminders where required. Each notice will identify the affected plan and explain how to cancel.
Refunds and Payment Disputes
Cancel a recurring plan before its trial ends to avoid a charge. All TVLok payments are final and non-refundable once charged, including the first recurring charge, renewal charges, unused time on a recurring plan, and Founding Lifetime purchases, except where applicable law requires otherwise or TVLok expressly agrees in writing. Canceling a recurring plan stops future renewals; it does not reverse a completed charge.
TVLok sells access to player software and account features, not channels or media. Problems with a user-provided playlist, provider, channel, movie, show, stream, catch-up source, or EPG source—including unavailability, buffering, blocking, geo-restriction, expiration, or removal—to the extent those problems are caused by the source, provider, credentials, network, or device do not make the TVLok software "not as described." This product-scope disclosure does not limit any right you may have if the TVLok software or paid plan itself materially differs from the description presented at purchase. Contacting [email protected] first can help us investigate quickly, but it does not limit any nonwaivable right or remedy.
We may challenge chargebacks or payment disputes that appear inaccurate, abusive, or fraudulent. When we do, we may provide the payment processor, card network, issuing bank, or dispute reviewer with relevant records listed below.
Chargeback Evidence We May Provide
We provide only records that TVLok actually retained, that are relevant to the stated dispute reason, and that we may lawfully disclose. Available records vary by payment provider, transaction, account activity, and retention period.
- Account creation, email-verification, entitlement, and subscription-status records.
- Payment-provider customer, subscription, transaction, and event identifiers and status timestamps that TVLok retained.
- Digital delivery and access signals such as entitlement activation, device registration, login, and last-active timestamps where available.
- Network metadata, including an IP address as observed through trusted hosting, security, or payment infrastructure where available. A network address can represent a shared connection or proxy and is not treated alone as proof of identity.
- Support, billing, cancellation, refund, security, and account correspondence retained by TVLok.
- Relevant audit records showing account, entitlement, device, or administrative events without exposing passwords, source credentials, or raw payment-card data.
Entitlement, device-registration, login, and last-active records may demonstrate digital delivery or account access; they do not, by themselves, prove that a particular stream played successfully.
If a payment is reversed or disputed, TVLok may suspend access associated with that payment while the matter is reviewed. Fraudulent use or repeated abuse may result in account action where permitted by law and payment-provider rules.
Acceptance, Eligibility, and Accounts
By creating an account, accessing or using TVLok, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use TVLok. You represent that you have reached the age of majority where you live and have legal capacity to enter this agreement. An adult account holder may create supervised profiles for children and remains responsible for their use.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping account and source credentials secure. Do not share access beyond the limits of your plan. Promptly contact [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized account access.
Software License and Ownership
Subject to these Terms and an active entitlement where required, TVLok grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software on supported devices for lawful personal use. No channels, media, provider rights, or ownership interest are granted with this license.
TVLok and its software, branding, interfaces, and original materials remain owned by TVLok or its licensors. Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass entitlement or security controls, interfere with the service, automate abusive access, or use TVLok to violate another person's rights.
Service Changes and Account Action
TVLok may improve, change, or retire software features and supported integrations. Material subscription changes and price changes will receive notice when required by applicable law. This does not permit TVLok to disregard the purchase-time description of a paid plan or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
TVLok may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a material breach of these Terms, security threats, payment fraud, charge reversals, or harm to TVLok or others. We may request information needed to investigate and may restore access when the issue is resolved. Account action does not create ownership rights in third-party sources or media.
Warranty and Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TVLok is provided "as is" and "as available." TVLok does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, continuous availability of third-party sources, or compatibility with every device, codec, network, or source format. These disclaimers do not override an express purchase-time promise or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TVLok is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by third-party sources, unauthorized use, device failure, or network interruption. TVLok's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid TVLok during the 12 months before the claim, or the purchase price of a one-time plan. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, willful misconduct, or other nonwaivable responsibility.
Responsibility for Unlawful Use
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and indemnify TVLok and its personnel against third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful source or media use, infringement of another person's rights, material breach of these Terms, or intentional misuse of TVLok. This does not require you to indemnify TVLok for TVLok's own negligence, willful misconduct, or legal responsibility that cannot be shifted.
General Terms
- Force majeure: TVLok is not responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
- Severability: each provision is severable. If one is unenforceable, it will be narrowed or removed only as needed, and the remaining provisions continue.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a provision once does not waive the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your account or agreement without TVLok's written consent; TVLok may transfer this agreement as part of a lawful reorganization, financing, or sale, subject to applicable law.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the purchase-time plan disclosures, and incorporated policies form the agreement for TVLok use. Purchase-time billing terms control over conflicting general text for that transaction.
We will provide notice of material Terms changes as required by applicable law. The version accepted for a completed purchase remains part of that transaction's record. Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
Privacy Policy
We collect and use information needed to operate TVLok, secure accounts, process payments, provide support, sync premium features, improve reliability, detect abuse, and respond to legal, tax, security, and payment-dispute requirements.
- Account data: email address, display name, password hash, verification status, profile names, subscription status, device limits, and support history.
- Device and app data: device model, operating system, app version, package/build type, device identifiers or fingerprints, verified network metadata where available, approximate location, language/time zone signals, and last-active timestamps.
- Playback and sync data: encrypted source configuration and credentials when sync is enabled, playlist metadata, favorites, watch history, settings, EPG metadata, cloud sync state, update checks, and diagnostics needed to make the app work across devices.
- Payment data: payment-provider customer, subscription, and transaction identifiers; entitlement tier, status, and period; renewal and cancellation state; and limited payment-event metadata.
- Diagnostics: crash logs, performance/session telemetry, API logs, security/audit logs, and error reports that may include device, app, route, or account context.
We do not intentionally collect or store full payment card numbers. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. TVLok does not host, sell, or copy the underlying third-party video or audio played from your sources. We process only the account, configuration, metadata, sync, billing, and diagnostic data described above.
Retention, Security, and Your Choices
We keep information only as long as we have a legitimate business, security, legal, tax, product, support, or dispute reason to keep it. Some records may remain after an account is canceled or deleted when needed for fraud prevention, backups, audits, chargebacks, taxes, legal compliance, or security investigations.
We retain verification of recurring-subscription consent for at least the period required by applicable law, including at least three years or one year after termination, whichever is longer, for California-covered agreements.
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect TVLok accounts and systems. No app or network can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Report suspected vulnerabilities to [email protected].
To request account help, cancellation help, data access, or deletion, contact [email protected] or visit tvlok.com/account/delete. We may need to verify your account before acting on a request.
Takedown and Abuse Contact
TVLok does not host media content. If you believe TVLok services are being misused, send a clear notice with your contact information, the affected rights or issue, the account or material involved if known, and enough detail for us to investigate.
