How to Sync Favorites and Settings Across All Your Devices

Set up cloud sync so your favorites, watch history, and settings follow you from TV to phone and back.

One of the biggest frustrations with local-only media players is that your favorites and settings are stuck on one device. TVLok Pro can sync eligible account data across supported signed-in devices when connected.

What Syncs

  • Favorites — Star a channel on your phone, it appears on your TV after both devices connect and the account sync completes.
  • Watch history — Resume a movie on your phone where you left off on TV.
  • Settings — EPG offset, buffer size, parental controls, category order, and more.
  • Hidden channels — Hide channels you do not want to see. That preference can sync to your other supported signed-in devices.
  • Profiles — Your profiles, PINs, and kid category allowlists sync across devices.
  • Search history — Your recent searches are available on supported signed-in devices after sync.

How It Works

When you sign in with your TVLok account on a new device, your data syncs when connected. Timing depends on connectivity, account state, server availability, and whether the relevant data is eligible for sync.

Setting It Up

  1. Create a TVLok account at tvlok.com/register.
  2. Sign in on your first device (Fire TV, Android TV, or phone).
  3. Add your playlist and set up your channels.
  4. Sign in on your second device — your playlist, favorites, and settings can sync when the devices are connected and your plan includes those features.

TVLok Pro Access

Cloud sync is a Pro feature. Monthly ($3.99), 6-Month ($12.99), and Annual ($19.99) plans include a 7-day trial for eligible new accounts. The limited Founding Lifetime plan is $39.99 and is charged immediately. Current checkout tax is USD 0.00; Stripe shows the exact total before authorization.

TVLok is player software and an account service. It does not include or sell channels, playlists, provider subscriptions, movies, shows, events, or media.

Pro sync may store encrypted source configuration and credentials plus playlist metadata, settings, favorites, history, and guide metadata. TVLok does not upload the underlying video or audio from your sources. Your local catalog remains available offline after it has been imported.

Conflict Resolution

If you make changes on two devices while offline, TVLok merges them automatically when both devices reconnect. The most recent change wins for each individual item (last-write-wins per field).
